Volunteer Requirements
Volunteers at MASA should be passionate about art, community engagement, and intergenerational connection. We welcome individuals aged 14 and up who are respectful, reliable, and eager to support seniors through creative programming.
Volunteer with the Masterstroke Atelier Society of Alberta (MASA)
- No formal art experience is required
- A willingness to learn, listen, and lead with empathy
- Volunteers must complete a short orientation
Do I need to be an artist to volunteer?
No! We welcome volunteers of all skill levels. Your enthusiasm and compassion matter more than artistic experience.
How much time do I need to commit?
We offer flexible opportunities—from one-time events to ongoing weekly sessions. You can choose what fits your schedule
Can I get school credit or volunteer hours?
Yes, MASA provides documentation for community service hours and school credit upon request.
